Chateau de Marqueyssac is a small 18th Century chateau known for its spectacular 54-acre gardens atop the cliffs between Domme and Beynac. The gardens boast over 150,000 hand-trimmed boxwood plants, some over 100 years old. There are also quaint hand-built stone poet's huts, panoramic viewpoints, rockeries and waterfalls. Larry's favorite was the tree-house which looks out south at Castlenaud! And, Dana had a feathered friend join her for lunch!
