Brantome

Brantome is located in the Green Perigord (northern region of the Dordogne) and has the oldest bell tower in France date from the 11th century. The Abbey was founded by Charlemagne between the 8th and early 9th centuries. The village is connected by five stone bridges dating from the mid-16th century spanning the Dronne River.
